Residents have worked hard to build their lives in West Vancouver. They deserve a Council that respects that investment, scrutinizes tax increases and protects the quality of life that makes this community exceptional.
That means thoughtful development, reliable services, well-maintained public spaces and consistent enforcement of the rules. I will take residents’ concerns seriously, ask difficult questions about spending and expect clear accountability for results.Â
GROWTH MUST BE SUPPORTED BY THE INFRASTRUCTURE IT REQUIRES.Â
TRANSPORTATION & INFRASTRUCTURE
We need to improve how people move around West Vancouver and ensure that our roads, utilities and community facilities can support residents today and the growth ahead.

I will advocate for practical improvements to traffic bottlenecks, intersections and roadwork coordination, as well as better transit connections through our work with TransLink. Safe crossings, connected sidewalks and congestion around schools also deserve attention.

Maintaining what we already have must be a priority. That means planning for the repair and replacement of aging roads, water pipes, sewers and drainage systems before problems become more disruptive and expensive.

When development is considered, residents deserve clear answers:
What infrastructure will it require?
When will improvements happen?
Who will pay for them?
THOUGHTFUL HOUSING AND QUALITY DESIGN
NEW HOUSING SHOULD ADD LASTING VALUE TO WEST VANCOUVER.
I support carefully planned housing that respects West Vancouver’s identity, natural beauty and neighbourhood character. Growth must reflect the needs of our community and the capacity of our infrastructure.

We need a range of well-designed homes that gives residents more choices throughout their lives—from townhouses and spacious apartments to smaller accessible homes near shops and services. Seniors should be able to downsize without leaving their community, while younger and middle-income families need a better opportunity to build a future here.

My experience in interior design has made this a personal passion. Building scale, architecture, materials, landscaping and environmental protection all shape how development fits into its surroundings. New homes should be attractive, functional, built to last and adaptable as people’s needs change.
Clear, timely permitting should support these standards—not weaken them.

RESIDENTS DESERVE VALUE FOR THEIR TAX DOLLARS.
RESPONSIBLE TAXES, SPENDING & ACCOUNTABILITY
Residents deserve confidence that their property taxes are being managed carefully and that municipal services provide value for money.

Council should closely examine spending, staffing levels and administrative costs. We need to understand how costs have changed, whether those changes are justified by service needs and where better processes or less duplication could produce savings.
​
Tax increases should come with clear explanations of why they are necessary, what alternatives were considered and what results residents should expect.
​
My background in operations and human resources has taught me the importance of clear responsibilities, effective staffing and accountable management. I would bring that same approach to municipal budgets and service delivery.

​I will listen to different perspectives, explain my reasoning and advocate for regular updates on major projects, budgets and outstanding issues.
